"High-Paying Trade Jobs Sit Empty, While High School Grads Line Up For University"

I know my job is to "get you to college," but there are some really great careers out there that don't require a traditional degree from a four-year college. Check out the link above to learn more about the market for careers in the trades.

Want to study something other than traditional subjects? Check back here often for introductions to "other" fields of study.

For example, want to learn how to blow stuff up? Check out this program from New Mexico Tech.

Want to know how to build and care for guns? Check out the gunsmithing program at Lassen Community College.

What about a school with NO letter grades? Evergreen State College might be up your alley.
